The exchange rates for major foreign currencies, including the US Dollar, Euro, and British Pound Sterling, have risen today, according to the Nepal Rastra Bank. The rates for these currencies have increased compared to Tuesday.
As of today, the buying rate for the US Dollar is NPR 133.99, and the selling rate is NPR 134.99. This marks a slight increase from Tuesday when the buying rate was NPR 133.95 and the selling rate was NPR 134.55.
Similarly, the Euro’s buying rate has risen to NPR 149.66 and the selling rate to NPR 150.33. On Tuesday, the Euro’s rates were NPR 149.56 for buying and NPR 150.23 for selling. The British Pound Sterling is now valued at NPR 177.17 for buying and NPR 177.96 for selling, up from Tuesday’s rates of NPR 176.60 and NPR 177.39, respectively.
Other foreign currencies have also seen rate adjustments. The Swiss Franc is currently trading at NPR 158.46 for buying and NPR 159.17 for selling. The Australian Dollar is priced at NPR 90.92 for buying and NPR 91.33 for selling. The Canadian Dollar stands at NPR 99.51 for buying and NPR 99.96 for selling, while the Singapore Dollar is at NPR 102.80 for buying and NPR 103.26 for selling.
The Japanese Yen is quoted at NPR 9.26 for buying and NPR 9.31 for selling per 10 Yen. The Chinese Yuan’s rates are NPR 18.80 for buying and NPR 18.88 for selling.
Additionally, the Saudi Riyal is valued at NPR 35.71 for buying and NPR 35.87 for selling. The Qatari Riyal is at NPR 36.75 for buying and NPR 36.92 for selling. The Thai Baht is priced at NPR 3.93 for buying and NPR 3.95 for selling, and the UAE Dirham stands at NPR 36.48 for buying and NPR 36.64 for selling.
For other currencies, the Malaysian Ringgit is at NPR 30.82 for buying and NPR 30.96 for selling. The Korean Won is trading at NPR 10.07 for buying and NPR 10.11 for selling per 100 Won. The Swedish Krona is valued at NPR 13.14 for buying and NPR 13.20 for selling.
The Danish Krone is at NPR 20.06 for buying and NPR 20.15 for selling. The Hong Kong Dollar stands at NPR 17.17 for buying and NPR 17.25 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar is priced at NPR 438.91 for buying and NPR 440.87 for selling, while the Bahraini Dinar is at NPR 355.56 for buying and NPR 357.15 for selling. The central bank has noted that exchange rates in the open market may vary.
