The value of the US Dollar, Euro, and Pound Sterling has decreased compared to Friday’s rates, as per the latest foreign exchange rates released by the Nepal Rastra Bank.
For today, the buying rate of the US Dollar stands at NPR 133.41, while the selling rate is NPR 134.01. On Friday, the rates were slightly higher, with the buying rate at NPR 133.60 and the selling rate at NPR 134.20.
Similarly, the European Euro is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 148.78 and a selling rate of NPR 149.54. In comparison, on Friday, the Euro’s buying rate was NPR 149.07, and the selling rate was NPR 149.74.
The UK Pound Sterling has also seen a slight decrease, with today’s buying rate at NPR 177.32 and the selling rate at NPR 178.12. On Friday, the rates were NPR 177.59 for buying and NPR 178.39 for selling.
Other currencies have also shown varying exchange rates. The Swiss Franc is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 157.02 and a selling rate of NPR 157.72. The Australian Dollar’s buying rate stands at NPR 90.78, with a selling rate of NPR 91.19. The Canadian Dollar is being traded at NPR 98.29 for buying and NPR 99.73 for selling.
The Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 103.21 and a selling rate of NPR 103.67, while the Japanese Yen (for 10 units) is traded at NPR 9.24 for buying and NPR 9.28 for selling. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 18.91 and a selling rate of NPR 18.99.
According to the central bank, the Saudi Arabian Riyal is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 35.55 and a selling rate of NPR 35.71. The Qatari Riyal is being traded at NPR 36.59 for buying and NPR 36.76 for selling. The Thai Baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.04 and a selling rate of NPR 4.06. The UAE Dirham is being traded at NPR 36.32 for buying and NPR 36.49 for selling.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian Ringgit stands at a buying rate of NPR 31.73 and a selling rate of NPR 31.87. The South Korean Won (per 100 units) is being traded at NPR 9.98 for buying and NPR 10.03 for selling. The Swedish Krona is at NPR 13.07 for buying and NPR 13.13 for selling, while the Danish Kroner has a buying rate of NPR 19.96 and a selling rate of NPR 20.05.
The Hong Kong Dollar is trading at NPR 17.12 for buying and NPR 17.20 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 437.20 and a selling rate of NPR 439.17, while the Bahraini Dinar is at NPR 354.01 for buying and NPR 355.61 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates can be adjusted as needed, and commercial banks may offer different rates. The latest rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
