The exchange rates of the US Dollar, Euro, and British Pound Sterling have increased today compared to Thursday, according to the foreign exchange rates published by Nepal Rastra Bank. As of today, the buying rate for one US Dollar stands at NPR 134.08, while the selling rate is NPR 134.68. On Thursday, the buying rate was NPR 134.05, and the selling rate was NPR 134.65.
Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro today is NPR 148.93, and the selling rate is NPR 149.60. This is an increase from Thursday’s rate when the buying rate was NPR 148.16, and the selling rate was NPR 148.82. The British Pound Sterling has also seen a rise, with today’s buying rate at NPR 176.64 and the selling rate at NPR 177.43, compared to Thursday’s buying rate of NPR 175.80 and selling rate of NPR 176.59.
In other currencies, the Swiss Franc is being exchanged at a buying rate of NPR 158.47 and a selling rate of NPR 159.18. The Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 90.24 and a selling rate of NPR 90.65, while the Canadian Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 99.25, and the selling rate is NPR 99.70. The Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 103.03 and a selling rate of NPR 103.49.
For 10 units of the Japanese Yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.34, and the selling rate is NPR 9.39, while the Chinese Yuan is being exchanged at a buying rate of NPR 18.90 and a selling rate of NPR 18.98.
According to the central bank, the Saudi Arabian Riyal is being traded at NPR 35.72 (buying) and NPR 35.88 (selling), while the Qatari Riyal is at NPR 36.78 (buying) and NPR 36.95 (selling). The Thai Baht is exchanged at NPR 3.98 for buying and NPR 4.00 for selling, and the UAE Dirham has a buying rate of NPR 36.51 and a selling rate of NPR 36.67.
Other significant currencies include the Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 30.91 (buying) and NPR 30.05 (selling), South Korean Won at NPR 10.05 (buying) and NPR 10.09 (selling) per 100 units, Swedish Krona at NPR 13.07 (buying) and NPR 13.13 (selling), and the Danish Krone at NPR 19.96 (buying) and NPR 20.05 (selling).
The Hong Kong Dollar is being traded at NPR 17.20 (buying) and NPR 17.28 (selling), while the Kuwaiti Dinar is the highest-valued currency with a buying rate of NPR 439.13 and a selling rate of NPR 441.10. The Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 355.70 and a selling rate of NPR 357.29.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as necessary. It also noted that the exchange rates determined by commercial banks may vary slightly, and the updated rates can be accessed through the central bank’s website.
