On Wednesday, January 26, 2025 (2081 Magh 9), the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), under the National Trust for Nature Conservation, conducted a forest patrol in the Raniwan forest area of Jomsom (Gharapjhong Rural Municipality-5), Mustang. The activity involved personnel from the District Police Office, Mustang, along with forest rangers from the Conservation Area Management Committee, Jomsom.

In addition to the patrol, three old tourism information boards located between Thini and Namkhu Lek were repaired and reinstalled, contributing to the improvement of local tourism infrastructure. This initiative underscores efforts to strengthen forest conservation and enhance the visitor experience within the Annapurna Conservation Area.
