Government Officials Inspect Progress of New Terminal at Bharatpur Airport

On Thursday, officials including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Ravi Lamichhane, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Hit Bahadur Tamang, and Bharatpur Metropolitan City Mayor Renu Dahal inspected the ongoing construction of the new terminal building at Bharatpur Airport.

The inspection aimed to assess the progress and readiness of the new terminal, which is expected to significantly enhance the airport’s capacity and facilities. Deputy Prime Minister Ravi Lamichhane emphasized the importance of infrastructure development in bolstering tourism and economic activities in the region. Minister Hit Bahadur Tamang highlighted the role of the terminal in promoting tourism and facilitating easier access for travelers.

Mayor Renu Dahal expressed satisfaction with the pace of construction and stressed the benefits the new terminal will bring to Bharatpur Metropolitan City and its residents. The officials inspected various sections of the terminal, including departure and arrival areas, security checkpoints, and passenger amenities.
