Grand Kalash Procession Marks First Day of Badrinarayan Pran Pratishtha Ceremony at Ramkot

The auspicious Badrinarayan Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav commenced today at Badrinarayan Temple, located in Nagarjun-7, Ramkot, with a grand Kalash Shobha Yatra held on the first day of the celebration. The religious event, which spans from Baisakh 19 to 27, witnessed significant participation from spiritual leaders and devotees, setting a deeply spiritual tone for the days to come.

The first day’s procession was carried out in the presence of revered spiritual figure Guru Dinbandhu Pokharel and members of the Narayan Pokharel Foundation. The organizing committee of the Badrinarayan Pran Pratishtha Main Ceremony, along with a large number of devotees, joined the vibrant Kalash Yatra with great enthusiasm and devotion.

Adding to the sanctity and significance of the occasion, Swami Shri Darshan Bhrati Ji, the President of Badrinarayan Dham in India, graced the event with his presence. Nepal’s Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Mr. Badri Prasad Pandey, also attended as a special guest, underscoring the cultural and religious importance of the event.

The Kalash Yatra, a symbolic procession that involves carrying sacred water in decorated vessels (kalash) for temple rituals, was joined by numerous other gurus and devout followers. The procession reflected a harmonious blend of faith, tradition, and spiritual energy, making it a memorable beginning to the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav.

The Badrinarayan Pran Pratishtha ceremony is expected to continue with a series of religious rituals, discourses, and cultural programs in the coming days, drawing devotees and visitors from various regions.
