A grand Kalash Yatra was successfully concluded at the ancient Treta-era Devadidev Mahadev Rajarshi Janak’s revered Kapileshwar Nath Mahadev Temple, located in Kapileshwar, Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-16.
The massive religious procession, organized by the Kapileshwar Nath Youth Committee, began today from the Baba Kapileshwar Nath Mahadev Temple. The yatra, adorned with vibrant tableaux and accompanied by traditional music, saw the participation of thousands of devotees. The procession ceremoniously circumambulated the sacred land of Kapileshwar, filled holy water at Gangasagar, and toured all parts of Janakpur before returning to the temple for a concluding religious assembly.
Addressing the gathering, Raghuvir Mahaseth, Central Secretary of the Nepal Communist Party (UML) and a minister emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting this site of religious heritage and archaeological significance. He urged the concerned authorities to take special measures for the conservation and enhancement of this artistic and divine tourist site.
