The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecasted the possibility of heavy rainfall in some parts of Nepal today.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a likelihood of heavy rainfall in a few areas of Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpaschim Province. Additionally, isolated locations in Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, and Gandaki Province may also experience heavy rain.
The ongoing monsoon winds have caused partial to general cloud cover across the country, with light rainfall occurring in some areas of Koshi Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpaschim Province.
The weather is expected to remain partially to generally cloudy throughout the day. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some parts of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpaschim Province, as well as in a few areas of Madhesh Province and Gandaki Province.
Tonight, the weather is expected to stay partially to generally cloudy across the country. Light to moderate rainfall, along with thunder and lightning, is likely in many parts of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpaschim Province, with a few areas in Madhesh Province also experiencing similar conditions.
