A helicopter belonging to Air Dynasty, which took off from Kathmandu and was en route to Syabrubesi in Rasuwa, has crashed in Nuwakot.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Shantiraj Koirala, the crash occurred in the area of Suryachaur in Shivpuri Rural Municipality-7.
A large team of security personnel has been deployed to the crash site, where rescue operations are currently underway. Reports indicate that the helicopter is on fire at the accident location.
As per Tribhuvan International Airport, the helicopter was piloted by Captain Arun Malla.
