In the recent helicopter crash in Surya Chaur-7, Shivpuri Rural Municipality of Nuwakot, it has been confirmed that four of the deceased were Chinese nationals. The victims have been identified as Jutod Tang, Jeili, Siyad B, and Ziqing Si. The pilot, Captain Arun Mall, was a Nepali citizen.
According to DIG Vishnu Kumar KC of the Bagmati Province Police, apart from one individual, all the deceased were Chinese nationals. The Air Dynasty helicopter, which was en route from Kathmandu to Syafrubesi in Rasuwa, crashed on Wednesday afternoon.
The police team that reached the crash site promptly recovered the bodies of five individuals. An investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
