Himalaya Airlines and CEAN Organize Free Health Check-Up for Prayas Nepal Children

In collaboration with the Chinese Enterprises Association of Nepal (CEAN), Himalaya Airlines supported a free health check-up program for the children of Prayas Nepal. The initiative was part of CEAN’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, aimed at uplifting underprivileged communities in Nepal.

The 16th batch of the China Medical Team conducted the free clinic, providing thorough examinations and innovative health education tailored to the children’s needs. The team of senior medical experts delivered their services with compassion and professionalism, ensuring the event’s success.

To mark the occasion of the Chinese New Year, CEAN generously donated a cheque of NPR 6 lakh. The funds will cover a year-long supply of daily essentials, including groceries, snacks, and toiletries, for the children at Prayas Nepal.

Himalaya Airlines, a longstanding supporter of Prayas Nepal since 2017, reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare during the event. Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Zhou Enyong, President of Himalaya Airlines, remarked, “Everything we do may be a small contribution, but the innocent smiles and resilience of these children give us boundless strength. Seeing them grow healthy and happy is our greatest motivation.”

Founded in 2003, Prayas Nepal is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the lives of orphaned and underprivileged children. Currently, it supports 18 children, offering quality education, warm shelter, psychological support, and life skills training to prepare them for independent living.

The health camp and donation drive not only provided practical assistance to the orphanage but also strengthened the bond of friendship between Chinese and Nepalese communities. The event showcased the dedication of Chinese enterprises in Nepal, highlighting their commitment to social responsibility and humanitarian efforts.
