Himalaya Airlines has announced the resumption of its scheduled flight operations to Dammam, Saudi Arabia, effective from May 12, 2026. The airline stated that the restart of this route will enhance connectivity for Nepali migrant workers, business travelers, and passengers traveling between Nepal and the Gulf region.
The Kathmandu–Dammam route is considered an important international corridor, especially for Nepali workers employed in Saudi Arabia. The resumption of Himalaya Airlines is expected to ease travel demand and provide more regular flight options after a period of disruption.
Flight Schedule and Operating Days
According to the airline, flights of Himalaya Airlines between Kathmandu and Dammam will operate on specific days with fixed timings. The Kathmandu–Dammam sector will operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays, departing from Kathmandu at 22:05 local time, with arrival in Dammam at 00:30 (+1 day). Similarly, the return Dammam–Kathmandu flights will operate on Wednesdays and Fridays, departing at 01:30 local time and arriving in Kathmandu at 08:55. The airline clarified that “+1” indicates arrival on the following day due to time zone differences and flight duration.

Passengers have been requested to contact authorized travel agents or visit the airline’s official sales offices for ticket reservations. Tickets are also available through the airline’s official website.
