Himalaya Airlines, an international airline, has announced the commencement of direct flights from Kathmandu to Kuwait starting August 20, 2024.
The decision to resume flights to Kuwait comes in response to the high demand from Nepali expatriates living and working in Kuwait. The airline aims to address this demand by reintroducing direct services.
Himalaya Airlines has appointed Scissors Travel Group as its General Sales Agent for the Kuwait route.
Initially, the airline will operate one flight per week on the Kathmandu-Kuwait-Kathmandu route. However, there are plans to increase the frequency of flights based on demand.
The Kathmandu-Kuwait flight will depart from Kathmandu at 00:40 local time and arrive at Kuwait International Airport at 03:15 local time.
The return flight from Kuwait will take off at 04:15 local time and is scheduled to land in Kathmandu at 11:50 local time.
