In a commendable effort to contribute to the local community, the Holiday Inn Resort Kathmandu Budhanilkantha, in collaboration with the Nepal Red Cross Society, successfully held a blood donation camp today as part of its ongoing Giving for Good campaign. The event was a resounding success, significantly boosting the local blood supply and showcasing the hotel’s strong commitment to social responsibility.
The month of September is dedicated to charitable initiatives under the Giving for Good campaign at IHG Hotels & Resorts, aimed at making a meaningful impact through volunteerism and philanthropy. This blood donation camp was a key activity under the initiative, aligning with the hotel’s mission of True Hospitality for Good.
The blood donation camp saw enthusiastic participation from both patrons and employees of Holiday Inn Resort Kathmandu Budhanilkantha, many of whom donated blood to support critical medical needs in the region. The collected blood will be used to save lives and support urgent medical care.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Nepal Red Cross Society for their invaluable partnership in making this blood donation camp a success,” said Mr. Arya SJB Rana, General Manager at Holiday Inn Resort Kathmandu Budhanilkantha. “This event is in perfect alignment with our Giving for Good initiative and reflects our dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of our guests and the broader community.”
