Hong Kong International Airport has been ranked sixth in the annual list of the world’s best airport terminals. Asian airports dominated the top five spots. These include Changi (Singapore), Hamad (Doha), Haneda (Tokyo), Incheon (Seoul), and Narita (Tokyo).

Singapore’s Changi Airport secured the first position, followed by Hamad International Airport in Doha (Qatar), Haneda in Tokyo (Japan), Incheon in Seoul (South Korea), and Narita in Tokyo.

Hong Kong International Airport came in sixth place, a notable jump from 11th in 2024 and 33rd in 2023. Airports ranked seventh to tenth include Paris Charles de Gaulle, Rome Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci), Munich, and Zurich. Additionally, Hong Kong won the award for Best Airport Immigration Service, beating Singapore, Bahrain, Taiwan, and Zurich.

This is Hong Kong’s fifth time receiving this recognition, having also won in 2020, 2019, 2016, and 2015. The rankings were based on votes from 13 million air travelers across more than 100 nationalities in a survey conducted by British aviation consultancy Skytrax.
