Hotel and Tourism Index Soars as NEPSE Sees Remarkable Gains

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index witnessed a significant upsurge, closing at 2,485.94 with a notable gain of 61.61 points or 2.54% from the previous trading day. This impressive rally marks an accumulation of approximately 245.51 points over the last four trading sessions.

The trading session began with the index opening at 2,421.49 points, hitting an intraday low of 2,408.25 points and an intraday high of 2,494.71 points before settling at the closing value of 2,485.94.

The Hotel and Tourism Index, in particular, experienced a remarkable surge, closing at 6,404.56 with a substantial gain of 259.05 points or 4.21% from the previous trading day’s close. This follows a gain of 63.61 points in the prior session.
