Today’s trading session commenced with the index at 2,770.39 points. It fluctuated throughout the day, hitting an intraday low of 2,744.10 points and an intraday high of 2,806.69 points before concluding at 2,796.38 points.
The Hotel and Tourism Index, a key sector in the NEPSE, exhibited remarkable performance, closing at 7,780.66 points. This represents a substantial gain of 488.31 points or 6.69% from the previous day’s close, following a rise of 44.70 points in the prior session. The index opened at 7,371.42 points and experienced intraday movements, reaching a low of 7,311.73 points and a high of 7,831.13 points before ending the day at 7,780.66 points.
Among the sector indices, the Hotel and Tourism Index led the day’s gains with a 6.69% increase. In contrast, the Finance Index faced the steepest decline, dropping by 4.61%.
