This represents an increase of 53.03 points, or 0.80%, compared to the previous day’s close. The sector had experienced a modest gain of 0.98 points in the last trading session before the festival. The session began with the index opening at 6,619.41, reaching an intraday low of 6,601.71 before peaking at 6,672.45.
