Hotel and Tourism Sector Soars as NEPSE Continues Record Surge

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed another day of significant gains, closing at a robust 2,364.63 points, marking a notable increase of 54.04 points or 2.33% from the previous day’s close. This upward trend underscores heightened optimism and investor confidence following the recent breach of the 2300 level.

Today’s trading session saw NEPSE open at 2,323.68 points, with fluctuations taking the index to an intraday low of 2,311.93 points and a peak of 2,364.76 points before settling at its closing value.

Simultaneously, the Hotel and Tourism Index experienced substantial growth, surging by 320.27 points or 5.55% to close at 6,081.90 points. This impressive rise follows a gain of 201.96 points in the previous trading session, highlighting robust performance within the sector.

Starting the day at 5,807.37 points, the Hotel and Tourism Index saw fluctuations, reaching an intraday low of 5,795.57 points and peaking at 6,099.96 points before settling at the closing value.

Investors and analysts are optimistic about the sustained positive momentum in the NEPSE and particularly buoyant about the Hotel and Tourism sector’s resilience and growth prospects amidst evolving market dynamics.
