Hotel Barahi to Host Special Dashain Feast at Lakeside

Hotel Barahi, located in Pokhara’s Lakeside, has announced a special Dashain Feast this year, offering traditional delicacies to celebrate Nepal’s biggest festival. The event aims to provide guests with a full range of festive dishes, focusing on the rich culinary traditions associated with Dashain.

The Dashain Feast will be held on October 10, 11, and 12, targeting domestic tourists who wish to celebrate the festival in a vibrant atmosphere. The feast will begin at 11:30 AM, allowing guests to indulge in various meat dishes, a staple of Dashain celebrations. Each guest will be charged NPR 2,000 for the event, according to Ramji Ghatani, Food and Beverage Manager at Hotel Barahi.

“We wanted to offer a welcoming Dashain celebration for those who wish to enjoy a get-together and have fun outside their homes,” Ghatani said. “It’s also an opportunity to promote our food culture while establishing a tradition of celebrating festivals at Hotel Barahi. We expect to host locals, Nepalis from abroad, and tourists alike. I invite everyone to experience our special Dashain Feast.”

The menu will feature traditional dishes like bhutuwa (spicy fried meat) and other popular meat varieties, giving guests an authentic taste of the festival.

This initiative by Hotel Barahi is set to attract both locals and international visitors, providing them with a memorable culinary experience during Nepal’s most cherished festival.
