Sauraha’s Baghmara-based Hotel Jungle Crown is set to invest an additional Rs. 160 million to construct a new 40-room building, marking a significant upgrade in its facilities. The decision to transform the hotel into a four-star establishment comes after a decade of successful operations, as stated by Chairman Tilchandra Bhattarai.
On Monday, Bhattarai and former Tourism Minister Prem Ale laid the foundation stone for the three-story building. Currently, the hotel offers 43 rooms, and the expansion will add luxurious amenities, including a swimming pool, spa, and health club, meeting the government’s four-star standards.
The new building will feature diverse restaurants catering to varied tastes, a meeting hall with a capacity of over 500 people, four suite rooms, and 36 deluxe rooms.
According to Executive Chief Santosh Giri, the upgrade will be completed within two years. With over 85 crores already invested in the two-bigha property, the additional investment reflects the hotel’s commitment to enhancing guest experiences and boosting local tourism.
