Hotel Sabrina Reports Growth In Annual Revenue

In FY 2025/26, the company’s business income amounted to Rs. 81.8 million, a jump of 14.49 percent compared to the previous fiscal year. The company also registered Rs. 6,271,000 worth of other income for the fiscal year. The revenue figures were shared with shareholders as part of the annual report approved at the AGM. The increase in revenue comes as the hotel embarks on its planned transformation into a higher end hospitality establishment.

Currently, the company is upgrading its Budhanilkantha property to five star standard, with a view to attracting an international hotel brand after its redevelopment is completed. The property will operate under the TRIBE, the lifestyle hospitality brand of the French hospitality group Accor. The project will be named TRIBE Kathmandu, and is said to be TRIBE’s first venture in Nepal.

TRIBE Kathmandu Set To Add New Hospitality Offering

As stated by Hotel Sabrina, the revamped property will feature 110 rooms, including three restaurants. One of the restaurants is set to be located on the rooftop and is to be one of Kathmandu’s largest rooftop dining destinations. The hotel is to be constructed with an average room size of about 30 square metres, in line with the company’s intent to provide a more spacious and upgraded accommodation experience. The redevelopment is expected to extend the hospitality offerings to guests staying in the Budhanilkantha area.

Chairman Nirajan Thapa stated that the company intends to open the hotel as a five star property under Accor’s TRIBE brand in 2027. The project will bring a globally recognized lifestyle hospitality concept to Nepal, as well as another internationally managed property to the accommodation market in Kathmandu. However, an earlier report on the TRIBE Kathmandu signing had mentioned a different development timeline and a 100 key configuration, and the 2027 opening target and 110 room figure should be considered as the latest targets stated by Hotel Sabrina.

Company Seeks Approval For Public Share Issue

In addition to the hotel redevelopment, Hotel Sabrina Limited has applied to the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) for approval to launch an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The company’s application marks another major corporate step for the company as it prepares for the next stage of its business expansion. The company had already announced its intent to pursue an IPO as part of its wider growth and investment strategy.

With the property undergoing a major upgrade and preparations underway for a planned TRIBE Kathmandu operation, Hotel Sabrina is set to grow both its hospitality offering and its corporate profile. The planned five star conversion, as well as additional rooms and restaurant facilities, should enhance the property’s position within Kathmandu’s hotel market. The company’s planned partnership with Accor’s TRIBE brand will also bring a new international hospitality dimension to the project, as the hotel industry in Nepal continues to attract global brands.
