Jazeera Airways is set to resume regular flights from Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa. The airline has submitted a request for approval of its winter schedule to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
Jazeera Airways plans to operate flights on the Kuwait-Bhairahawa-Kuwait route, with the request awaiting final approval. CAAN had earlier asked the airline to submit a schedule within the airport’s operational hours, rather than during the night when the airport is closed, to avoid unnecessary operational costs.
In response, Jazeera Airways has requested permission for flights that will arrive in Nepal at 6:25 AM and depart at 7:30 AM. According to CAAN spokesperson Gyanendra Bhul, this schedule is expected to align with the airport’s operating hours and ensure efficient use of resources.
This move marks a significant step in increasing international connectivity from Bhairahawa, enhancing travel options for passengers in the region.
