In a significant expansion of its footprint in Nepal’s hospitality sector, Landmark Hotels and Resorts has officially taken over the management of the well-known Royal Century Hotel, located at the southern slope of Bharatpur, Chitwan. The group has also acquired operational management of the farmhouse operated by Royal Century in Devghat.
Landmark Move
Announcing the takeover during a press conference held on Monday in Bharatpur, Landmark’s Corporate Operations Director Samrat Pandey stated that the group has assumed full responsibility for the management of both the 70-room hotel in Bharatpur Heights and the approximately 4-hectare farmhouse located in Bhuwantar, Devghat Rural Municipality-5.
Pandey emphasized that this step significantly strengthens it’s presence in the tourism sector. He further shared that the Royal Century Hotel has been rebranded as “Landmark Narayani”, while the farmhouse is now known as “Landmark Farm House”, both of which will operate under enhanced and refined service standards.

According to Bodhraj Lamsal, General Manager of Landmark Hotel, Landmark Narayani now offers 70 fully furnished rooms, six banquet and conference halls suitable for corporate events and meetings, a multi-cuisine restaurant, a bar with a wide range of beverages, a coffee house, and an open terrace for guests to relax under the sky. The hotel is also planning to add a swimming pool soon. Lamsal expressed confidence in the hotel’s readiness to cater to both business and family guests, offering top-tier services.

Meanwhile, the Landmark Farm House in Devghat spans approximately 1.5 bighas and includes 13 rooms and attractive cottages, offering a peaceful retreat on the banks of the Trishuli River. Director Raju Pandey of Landmark Hotels and Resorts described it as a perfect fusion of natural beauty, comfort, and modern amenities. The farmhouse will also introduce a “farm-to-table dining” concept, featuring fresh, local produce. Additional facilities include a swimming pool, poolside party space, bar, restaurant, and tree houses, creating a serene yet luxurious experience for guests.
Director Ramesh Pandey stated that this expansion reflects Landmark’s commitment to boosting tourism in Bharatpur and Devghat, highlighting the area’s potential as a premier tourist destination. The Hotels and Resorts is already recognized as one of Nepal’s most reputable hotel groups, managing luxury properties in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Sauraha, and Bhairahawa.
The acquisition of Royal Century and the farmhouse aligns with Chitwan’s growing momentum in tourism infrastructure development, where both new hotels are emerging and older establishments are being upgraded to meet evolving traveler expectations.
