Langtang National Park to Keep Roads Open 24/7 During Gosainkunda Mela

In preparation for the holy Gosainkunda Mela, Langtang National Park has announced that it will keep its main access roads open 24 hours a day. This decision, effective from today until Bhadra 4th, has been made to facilitate the movement of pilgrims and visitors during the festival.

In an official statement, the park administration clarified that while vehicles will be allowed to operate around the clock for the convenience of travelers, freight vehicles will face restrictions during the night. Specifically, trucks carrying Chinese goods to Rasuwagadhi will only be permitted to operate until 11 PM each night.

This move aims to ensure a smooth and safe journey for all those attending the Gosainkunda Mela, while also managing the flow of heavy vehicles on the main routes to the festival site.
