Madhyapurthimi Municipality is set to host a three-day festival this December, aimed at promoting the unique culture and heritage of the area. Scheduled from December 27 to 29, the festival will be organized under the leadership of Mayor Surendra Shrestha, who emphasized the event’s significance in showcasing the municipality’s rich traditions.
A dedicated committee, including local experts, will be formed to oversee the festival’s organization. The event will feature a variety of cultural presentations and performances that reflect the identity of Madhyapurthimi. Additionally, numerous stalls will display local professions, businesses, and indigenous products, such as handicrafts, pottery, and ceramics.
Mayor Shrestha highlighted that the festival would be a comprehensive celebration of Madhyapurthimi’s heritage, with various programs organized across the municipality. The main organizing committee will be responsible for preparing and managing the activities throughout the event.
