A Mahayagya held in Harion Municipality-9, Danuwari, raised Rs. 276 million to construct a Manavsewa Ashram building. The event took place from Falgun 22 to Falgun 29.

According to Madhav Thapa, coordinator of the main organizing committee, Rs. 42 million was collected on Thursday alone. The building remains incomplete due to a fund shortage, with an estimated Rs. 1.1 billion needed for completion.

Earlier, another Mahayagya was organized in Hariwan-11 to raise funds. The Hariwan Municipality contributed Rs. 56 million, with additional support from local governments, social organizations, and individuals.

Currently, due to the lack of its building, the ashram operates from a senior citizens’ home in Hariwan-1, Kailashpuri, providing shelter to 60 individuals.
