Minister Karki Stresses on Active Participation for the Conservation and Promotion of Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve

Former Minister for Information and Communication, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, emphasized the need for collective effort in the conservation and promotion of the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve. During a visit to the reserve today, where he participated in an elephant safari, Minister Karki highlighted the importance of transforming Koshi Tappu into an exceptional tourist destination.

He stated, “Koshi Tappu, being a significant tourist region in the eastern part of the country, has always been a focus of my attention for its development and expansion. The development of this area brings substantial economic and social benefits, and we all must focus our efforts towards its progress.”

Along with Minister Karki, Sadananda Mandal, the Minister for Tourism, Forests, and Environment of Koshi Province, also joined the visit. Both ministers participated in the elephant safari and conducted an inspection of various locations within the reserve.
