Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey, has affirmed the government’s commitment to fostering an investment-friendly environment in Nepal’s tourism sector. Speaking at the “Global Conclave” on the second day of the Non-Resident Nepali Association’s (NRNA) annual general assembly, Minister Pandey highlighted ongoing efforts to encourage investments in tourism.
“We are establishing a conducive environment for investment in the tourism sector. We are working on improvements in the culture and civil aviation sectors, and we ask for your cooperation in these endeavors,” said Pandey. He added that several contemporary legal drafts have been prepared to reform policies in culture, tourism, and civil aviation, expressing confidence that new laws will be enacted in the upcoming parliamentary session.
During the event, Minister Pandey honored 81-year-old Bharati Limbuni from Myanmar, recognizing her efforts in promoting the Nepali language and culture abroad.
