Speaking at the event, Minister Pandey stated, “Nepal is not only rich in geographical, natural, and cultural diversity, but our majestic mountains serve as unparalleled adventure destinations. Branding and promoting these Himalayan peaks, including Mount Everest, is essential to establish Nepal as one of the world’s premier tourist destinations.”
He further noted that the photos showcased in the exhibition serve a dual purpose: promoting tourism and conveying the message that Nepal is actively moving forward in this sector. “These images are a testament to the potential we hold. They remind us of our responsibility to protect and market these natural treasures,” he added.

The Minister also underscored the importance of effective coordination and collaboration among concerned ministries and stakeholders to attract more tourists by conserving and promoting Nepal’s unique natural heritage. He assured that the Ministry will move forward with strategic plans focused on promoting tourist destinations and improving infrastructure.
Referring to the exhibition, he said, “RSS has organized an impressive photo exhibition on a highly relevant theme. The displayed photos send a strong message, pushing the state towards more action. The Ministry recognizes the importance of branding these visual narratives.”

Appreciating the efforts of RSS, Minister Pandey acknowledged its leading role in not only providing news services but also contributing to tourism promotion through such visual initiatives. “RSS has been carrying out its responsibilities diligently, and its recent activities reflect its commitment to quality and leadership,” he said, wishing success to the ongoing exhibition.
Prior to the formal inauguration, Minister Pandey observed the exhibition, which featured a curated collection of approximately 100 photographs captured by RSS photojournalists. The photographs depicted Nepal’s towering eight-thousanders, lesser-known peaks, highland lifestyles, mountain ranges, foreign dignitaries visiting the mountains, alpine destinations, lakes, and other notable features of the mountainous regions.
The exhibition aimed to visually represent the identity and richness of Nepal’s mountain tourism, thereby contributing to its promotion both nationally and internationally.
