Sheynnis Palacios, the winner of Miss Universe 2023, has arrived in Nepal to attend the Miss Universe Nepal 2024 event. Palacios, who hails from Nicaragua, landed in Kathmandu on Thursday morning, arriving from Zimbabwe.
The organizing company, Global Glamour Ventures, warmly welcomed her at the airport. Present to greet her were Sabi Puri, Executive Director of the company, Sangeeta Puri, National Director of Miss Universe Nepal 2024, choreographer Dikpal Karki, and other officials.
On Friday, Palacios is scheduled to interact with the contestants of Miss Universe Nepal 2024. However, she will not stay until the finale, which is set for September 7, 2024 (Bhadra 22).
Sheynnis Palacios made history as the first Nicaraguan woman to win the Miss Universe title, marking a significant achievement for her country. This visit also marks the first time Nepal has hosted a Miss Universe titleholder. Palacios is set to depart Nepal on Sunday.
The finale of Miss Universe Nepal 2024 will feature 22 contestants competing for the prestigious title.
