Moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is occurring in some parts of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, while light to moderate rain has been observed in a few areas of the remaining provinces. Additionally, the division has warned of the possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two locations in Koshi, Madhesh, and Gandaki provinces.
For the rest of the day, partial to moderate cloud cover is expected across the country. Light to moderate rain is forecast for several areas in Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, with a heightened possibility of heavy rain in one or two locations in Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
In the upcoming 24 hours, the Meteorological Division has predicted light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in parts of all provinces. There is also a likelihood of heavy rain in one or two locations in Koshi, Madhesh, and Gandaki provinces. The division has advised the public to be cautious of potential risks such as landslides, floods, and erosion in these areas.
Residents in affected regions are urged to remain alert as these weather conditions could disrupt daily life and impact various sectors, including agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, road travel, and air transport.
