The Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) celebrated the 66th Anniversary of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) by participating enthusiastically in the “Walkathon Event.” The event, held to commemorate NAC’s milestone, was inaugurated by the Honourable Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Mr. Hit Bahadur Tamang.
Mr. Kumar Mani Thapaliya, President of NATTA, along with several board members, joined the event with great enthusiasm. They actively participated in the walkathon, highlighting their support for Nepal Airlines Corporation’s long-standing contribution to the country’s aviation and tourism sectors.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Hit Bahadur Tamang emphasized the pivotal role of Nepal Airlines in promoting tourism and connecting Nepal with the world. He lauded NATTA’s participation, recognizing the association’s continuous efforts to bolster Nepal’s tourism industry.
Mr. Kumar Mani Thapaliya expressed NATTA’s delight in being part of NAC’s anniversary celebrations. He underscored the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors in advancing Nepal’s tourism goals. “NATTA is committed to working closely with Nepal Airlines Corporation to enhance air travel services and promote Nepal as a preferred destination,” Thapaliya affirmed.
The walkathon event concluded with a pledge to strengthen partnerships between NATTA, Nepal Airlines Corporation, and other stakeholders in the tourism sector. Participants highlighted the need for continued collaboration to overcome challenges and capitalize on opportunities in Nepal’s tourism landscape.
