Nepal Airlines has announced a special ticket revalidation facility for passengers whose travel plans have been disrupted by the recent floods in Rasuwa. The national flag carrier said the measure is intended to provide relief to travelers who are unable to follow their original flight schedules because of the flood-related disruption.
Eligibility Extended to Passengers With Travel Plans Through September 5
Under the new arrangement, passengers whose tickets were issued on or before August 26, 2026, and who were scheduled to travel between August 26 and September 5, 2026, will be eligible for free revalidation. Passengers covered by the provision will not have to pay any additional charges to change or revalidate their tickets. However, Nepal Airlines has set a deadline for completing the revised journey. Passengers who revalidate their tickets under the special provision must complete their travel by September 16, 2026.

Nepal Airlines clarified that the special revalidation arrangement applies only to flights originating from Nepal. Passengers affected by the Rasuwa floods who meet the eligibility requirements have been advised to contact or visit a Nepal Airlines sales office to process their ticket revalidation.
The initiative comes as severe flooding and related road disruptions have affected transportation networks in several parts of the country, creating difficulties for travelers and increasing the need for alternative travel arrangements.
