Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has secured a loan totaling NPR 43,955,281 from the Employees Provident Fund and Citizen Investment Trust to acquire two narrow-body and two wide-body aircraft.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, NAC clarified that the loan was specifically obtained for purchasing aircraft intended for international flights. The corporation has already made the installment payment for the narrow-body aircraft scheduled for Ashadh 2081 and a partial payment for the wide-body aircraft. Under the current management, NAC has pledged to fully repay a sum of NPR 5,079,764,249 by Ashadh 2081.
