The national flag carrier, Nepal Airlines Corporation, is set to introduce a 60-day operational plan to manage its flights effectively during the upcoming festivals of Dashain, Tihar, and Chhath. This plan aims to ensure smooth and efficient services for travelers during the busy festive period.
Yubaraj Adhikari, Executive Chairman of Nepal Airlines, has instructed departmental heads to submit a detailed 60-day plan within 24 hours. The directive is part of an initiative to enhance the effectiveness of the airline’s operations and improve passenger experience during this high-demand period.
According to Nepal Airlines spokesperson Ramesh Paudel, several key departments have been tasked with drafting the flight operation plan. These include the Deputy General Manager (Technical), Engineering Maintenance Department, Continuing Airworthiness Department, Quality Assurance Department, and Market Management Division.
In addition, the airline has imposed restrictions on international training and official travel for staff unless absolutely necessary. Employees, especially those in managerial and supervisory positions, have been instructed not to take leave that could disrupt office work during this period.
Nepal Airlines hopes that this focused effort will help manage the increased demand during the festive season and provide better service to passengers.
