The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the foreign exchange rates for today, setting new benchmarks for currency conversions. As per the Nepal Rastra Bank (central bank’s) latest update, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at NPR 136.46, while the selling rate is set at NPR 137.06.
Similarly, the European Euro (EUR) has been valued with a buying rate of NPR 147.21 and a selling rate of NPR 147.85. The British Pound Sterling (GBP) is being traded at NPR 176.10 for buying and NPR 176.88 for selling. Additionally, the Swiss Franc (CHF) has been fixed at NPR 154.59 for buying and NPR 155.27 for selling.
In terms of other international currencies, the Australian Dollar (AUD) is available at a buying rate of NPR 85.24 and a selling rate of NPR 85.61, whereas the Canadian Dollar (CAD) is set at NPR 94.77 for buying and NPR 95.18 for selling. The Singapore Dollar (SGD) exchange rate has been established at NPR 101.57 for buying and NPR 102.01 for selling.
The Japanese Yen (JPY) is being traded at NPR 9.14 for buying and NPR 9.18 for selling per 10 units. Meanwhile, the Chinese Yuan (CNY) stands at NPR 18.77 for buying and NPR 18.85 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal (SAR) has been determined at NPR 36.38 for buying and NPR 36.54 for selling, whereas the Qatari Riyal (QAR) is set at NPR 37.44 for buying and NPR 37.60 for selling.
The central bank has also announced that the Thai Baht (THB) has been valued at NPR 4.00 for buying and NPR 4.01 for selling. The United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) exchange rate has been set at NPR 37.15 for buying and NPR 37.32 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) is fixed at NPR 30.75 for buying and NPR 30.89 for selling, while the South Korean Won (KRW) per 100 units is available at NPR 9.26 for buying and NPR 9.30 for selling.
Additionally, the Swedish Krona (SEK) stands at NPR 13.61 for buying and NPR 13.67 for selling, and the Danish Krone (DKK) is valued at NPR 19.73 for buying and NPR 19.82 for selling. The Hong Kong Dollar (HKD) has been determined at NPR 17.54 for buying and NPR 17.62 for selling.
For Middle Eastern currencies, the Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) is set at NPR 442.56 for buying and NPR 444.51 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar (BHD) exchange rate has been determined at NPR 361.99 for buying and NPR 363.58 for selling. Likewise, the Omani Rial (OMR) has been fixed at NPR 354.46 for buying and NPR 356.02 for selling.
The exchange rate for the Indian Rupee (INR) has been set at NPR 160.00 for buying per 100 units, while the selling rate is NPR 160.15. According to Nepal Rastra Bank, these exchange rates are subject to change and may be revised at any time if necessary. The central bank also clarified that the rates set by commercial banks may vary slightly based on their internal policies.
