Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the latest foreign currency exchange rates for today, setting benchmarks for various international currencies against the Nepalese Rupee. These exchange rates are crucial for businesses, travelers, and financial institutions involved in foreign exchange transactions. The rates, subject to market fluctuations, provide a guideline for commercial banks and financial institutions operating in Nepal.
According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the exchange rate for the US Dollar has been fixed at NPR 137.26 per unit for buying and NPR 137.86 for selling. The Euro stands at NPR 148.80 for buying and NPR 149.45 for selling, while the British Pound Sterling is valued at NPR 177.67 for buying and NPR 178.45 for selling. Similarly, the Swiss Franc is being traded at NPR 155.78 for buying and NPR 156.46 for selling.

In the Asian currency segment, the Japanese Yen (per 10 units) has a buying rate of NPR 9.21 and a selling rate of NPR 9.25, while the Chinese Yuan is exchanged at NPR 18.94 for buying and NPR 19.02 for selling. The Singapore Dollar is valued at NPR 102.88 for buying and NPR 103.33 for selling. Additionally, the Thai Baht stands at NPR 4.05 for buying and NPR 4.07 for selling.
Among the Middle Eastern currencies, the Saudi Arabian Riyal has been set at NPR 36.59 for buying and NPR 36.75 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal is being exchanged at NPR 37.65 for buying and NPR 37.82 for selling. The UAE Dirham is available at NPR 37.37 for buying and NPR 37.53 for selling. Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti Dinar, one of the highest-valued currencies, is trading at NPR 445.45 for buying and NPR 447.39 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar has been set at NPR 364.12 for buying and NPR 365.71 for selling, while the Omani Riyal stands at NPR 356.59 for buying and NPR 358.15 for selling.

The Australian Dollar is trading at NPR 86.36 for buying and NPR 86.73 for selling, while the Canadian Dollar has been valued at NPR 95.73 for buying and NPR 96.15 for selling. Meanwhile, the South Korean Won (per 100 units) is being exchanged at NPR 9.38 for buying and NPR 9.42 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit is valued at NPR 31.05 for buying and NPR 31.18 for selling.
In the Scandinavian currency segment, the Swedish Kroner is being exchanged at NPR 13.60 for buying and NPR 13.66 for selling, whereas the Danish Kroner is available at NPR 19.95 for buying and NPR 20.03 for selling. Meanwhile, the Hong Kong Dollar is valued at NPR 17.66 for buying and NPR 17.73 for selling. Regarding the Indian Rupee, which holds a fixed exchange rate with Nepalese currency, NRB has set 100 Indian Rupees at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has clarified that these exchange rates are subject to change based on economic conditions and foreign exchange market trends. The central bank also mentioned that commercial banks may offer slightly different exchange rates, which are available on their respective websites. Additionally, NRB reserves the right to modify these rates at any time based on financial market fluctuations.
