Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign exchange rates for today, determining the buying and selling values of major international currencies. According to NRB, the exchange rate for 1 US dollar stands at NPR 137.90 for buying and NPR 138.50 for selling. Similarly, 1 Euro is set at NPR 149.52 for buying and NPR 150.17 for selling, while 1 British Pound Sterling is NPR 178.68 for buying and NPR 179.46 for selling. The Swiss Franc exchange rate is NPR 156.48 for buying and NPR 157.16 for selling.
In the Asian and Australian currency markets, the exchange rate for 1 Australian Dollar is NPR 86.69 for buying and NPR 87.07 for selling, while 1 Canadian Dollar stands at NPR 95.87 for buying and NPR 96.28 for selling. The Singapore Dollar has been valued at NPR 103.28 for buying and NPR 103.73 for selling. Meanwhile, 10 Japanese Yen is set at NPR 9.29 for buying and NPR 9.33 for selling, and 1 Chinese Yuan stands at NPR 19.04 for buying and NPR 19.12 for selling.
In the Gulf region, the exchange rate for 1 Saudi Arabian Riyal is NPR 36.76 for buying and NPR 36.92 for selling, while 1 Qatari Riyal is NPR 37.83 for buying and NPR 37.99 for selling. Similarly, the UAE Dirham is set at NPR 37.54 for buying and NPR 37.71 for selling, and 1 Kuwaiti Dinar is valued at NPR 447.67 for buying and NPR 449.62 for selling.
The Thai Baht exchange rate is NPR 4.09 for buying and NPR 4.10 for selling, whereas the Malaysian Ringgit stands at NPR 31.16 for buying and NPR 31.29 for selling. Meanwhile, 100 South Korean Won is being traded at NPR 9.40 for buying and NPR 9.44 for selling.
In the Scandinavian market, 1 Swedish Krona is set at NPR 13.54 for buying and NPR 13.60 for selling, while 1 Danish Krona stands at NPR 20.04 for buying and NPR 20.13 for selling. The Hong Kong Dollar exchange rate is NPR 17.74 for buying and NPR 17.82 for selling.
Additionally, the exchange rate for 1 Bahraini Dinar is NPR 365.81 for buying and NPR 367.40 for selling, whereas 1 Omani Riyal is set at NPR 358.19 for buying and NPR 359.74 for selling. The Indian Rupee exchange rate for 100 INR is NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates are subject to revision as required. It has also mentioned that commercial banks may have different exchange rates, and the latest updates can be accessed through the Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
