Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the exchange rates for foreign currencies for today. While the value of the US dollar remains unchanged, the rates for the Euro, British Pound Sterling, Singapore Dollar, and South Korean Won have increased. Conversely, the Swiss Franc, Canadian Dollar, and Swedish Kroner have seen a decline in their values. The rates for other foreign currencies remain stable.
As per the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 137.64, while the selling rate is NPR 138.24. The buying rate for one Euro is NPR 144.44, with a selling rate of NPR 145.07. Similarly, one British Pound Sterling is being bought at NPR 171.80 and sold at NPR 172.55. The Swiss Franc stands at a buying rate of NPR 151.95 and a selling rate of NPR 152.61.
For other currencies, one Australian Dollar is priced at NPR 86.87 for buying and NPR 87.25 for selling. The Canadian Dollar is valued at NPR 95.95 (buying) and NPR 96.37 (selling), while the Singapore Dollar is set at NPR 102.26 (buying) and NPR 102.70 (selling).
The buying and selling rates for 10 Japanese Yen are NPR 8.82 and NPR 8.86, respectively, whereas one Chinese Yuan is being exchanged at NPR 19.00 (buying) and NPR 19.08 (selling). The Saudi Arabian Riyal is priced at NPR 36.69 for buying and NPR 36.85 for selling, and the Qatari Riyal is set at NPR 37.75 (buying) and NPR 37.92 (selling).
The Thai Baht stands at NPR 4.10 (buying) and NPR 4.11 (selling). Similarly, the UAE Dirham is valued at NPR 37.47 (buying) and NPR 37.64 (selling), while the Malaysian Ringgit is priced at NPR 31.44 (buying) and NPR 31.58 (selling). The South Korean Won (per 100) is exchanged at NPR 9.63 (buying) and NPR 9.67 (selling). The Swedish Kroner is set at NPR 12.60 (buying) and NPR 12.65 (selling), and the Danish Kroner at NPR 19.36 (buying) and NPR 19.44 (selling).
For other notable currencies, one Hong Kong Dollar is priced at NPR 17.68 for buying and NPR 17.75 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar stands at NPR 446.72 (buying) and NPR 448.67 (selling), while the Bahraini Dinar is valued at NPR 365.13 (buying) and NPR 366.72 (selling). The Omani Riyal is set at NPR 357.59 (buying) and NPR 359.15 (selling). The Indian Rupee (per 100) is priced at NPR 160.00 (buying) and NPR 160.15 (selling).
NRB has stated that these rates are subject to revision as needed. Additionally, the exchange rates provided by commercial banks may vary, and the latest updates can be found on the central bank’s official website.
