Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for today. According to NRB, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is set at NPR 133.63, while the selling rate is NPR 134.23.
Similarly, the buying rate for 1 euro is NPR 149.18, and the selling rate is NPR 149.85. The buying rate for 1 UK pound sterling is NPR 178.72, with a selling rate of NPR 179.53. The Swiss franc is set at a buying rate of NPR 158.98 and a selling rate of NPR 159.69.
For other currencies, the Australian dollar is valued at NPR 92.24 for buying and NPR 92.65 for selling, while the Canadian dollar stands at NPR 98.67 for buying and NPR 99.32 for selling. The Singapore dollar has a buying rate of NPR 104.30 and a selling rate of NPR 104.77.
Additionally, 10 Japanese yen can be bought for NPR 9.40 and sold for NPR 9.44. The Chinese yuan’s buying rate is NPR 19.06, while its selling rate is NPR 19.15. The Saudi Arabian riyal is priced at NPR 35.62 for buying and NPR 35.78 for selling. The Qatari riyal is valued at NPR 36.66 for buying and NPR 36.83 for selling.
Other notable rates include the Thai baht at NPR 4.13 for buying and NPR 4.15 for selling, and the UAE dirham at NPR 36.38 for buying and NPR 36.55 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 32.40 and a selling rate of NPR 32.54, while 100 South Korean won can be bought for NPR 10.20 and sold for NPR 10.24.
The Swedish krona is set at NPR 13.24 for buying and NPR 13.30 for selling, while the Danish krone is valued at NPR 20.01 for buying and NPR 20.10 for selling.
According to NRB, the Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of NPR 17.19 and a selling rate of NPR 17.27, while the Kuwaiti dinar is set at NPR 438.15 for buying and NPR 440.11 for selling. The Bahraini dinar stands at NPR 354.46 for buying and NPR 356.05 for selling. The Indian rupee is fixed at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling per 100 INR.
NRB has noted that these rates may be revised at any time as necessary, and rates offered by commercial banks may vary. The updated exchange rates can be found on the official website of the central bank.
