The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the exchange rate for 1 US dollar has been fixed at NPR 134.20 for buying and NPR 134.80 for selling.
The exchange rate for 1 Euro stands at NPR 146.66 for buying and NPR 147.32 for selling. Similarly, the UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of NPR 175.18 and a selling rate of NPR 175.96, while the Swiss Franc is valued at NPR 156.47 for buying and NPR 157.17 for selling.
For the Australian dollar, the buying rate is NPR 90.30, and the selling rate is NPR 90.70. The Canadian dollar is set at NPR 79.42 for buying and NPR 79.85 for selling. The Singapore dollar’s buying rate is NPR 102.72, with a selling rate of NPR 103.18.
Among Asian currencies, the Japanese Yen is fixed at NPR 9.00 for buying and NPR 9.04 for selling per 10 yen. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 18.99 and a selling rate of NPR 19.07. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is NPR 35.65 for buying and NPR 35.81 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal is set at NPR 36.74 for buying and NPR 36.90 for selling.
The Thai Baht is valued at NPR 4.03 for buying and NPR 4.04 for selling. Meanwhile, the UAE Dirham is fixed at NPR 36.54 for buying and NPR 36.70 for selling, and the Malaysian Ringgit is NPR 31.30 for buying and NPR 31.44 for selling.
South Korean Won has been set at NPR 9.13 for buying per 100 Won and NPR 9.98 for selling. The Swedish Kroner is NPR 12.91 for buying and NPR 12.97 for selling, and the Danish Kroner stands at NPR 19.66 for buying and NPR 19.74 for selling.
The Hong Kong Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 17.23 and selling rate NPR 17.35. The Kuwaiti Dinar has the highest rate among listed currencies, with a buying rate of NPR 437.70 and a selling rate of NPR 439.66. The Bahraini Dinar follows with NPR 355.96 for buying and NPR 357.55 for selling.
The Indian Rupee, which is pegged to the Nepalese currency, has a buying rate of NPR 160.00 per 100 units and a selling rate of NPR 160.15.
