Nepal Rastra Bank has published the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is set at NPR 137.89, while the selling rate stands at NPR 138.49.
For the Euro, the buying rate is NPR 142.12, and the selling rate is NPR 142.74. The buying and selling rates for 1 UK pound sterling are NPR 168.60 and NPR 169.34, respectively. Similarly, the Swiss Franc is priced at NPR 151.28 for buying and NPR 151.94 for selling.
The exchange rates for the Australian dollar are NPR 85.56 for buying and NPR 85.93 for selling. The Canadian dollar is valued at NPR 96.14 for buying and NPR 96.56 for selling, while the Singapore dollar has a buying rate of NPR 100.89 and a selling rate of NPR 101.33.
For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is NPR 8.79, and the selling rate is NPR 8.83. The Chinese Yuan is priced at NPR 18.81 for buying and NPR 18.89 for selling. Meanwhile, the Saudi Arabian Riyal is set at NPR 36.74 for buying and NPR 36.90 for selling, and the Qatari Riyal is valued at NPR 37.83 for buying and NPR 37.99 for selling.
Other currencies include the Thai Baht at NPR 3.97 for buying and NPR 3.99 for selling, the UAE Dirham at NPR 37.54 for buying and NPR 37.70 for selling, and the Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 30.65 for buying and NPR 30.78 for selling. The South Korean Won (100 units) is valued at NPR 9.46 for buying and NPR 9.50 for selling, while the Swedish Krona is set at NPR 12.36 for buying and NPR 12.12 for selling. The Danish Krone has a buying rate of NPR 19.05 and a selling rate of NPR 19.13.
The Hong Kong dollar is set at NPR 17.71 for buying and NPR 17.78 for selling. For the Kuwaiti Dinar, the buying rate is NPR 446.77, and the selling rate is NPR 448.72. Similarly, the Bahraini Dinar is valued at NPR 365.81 for buying and NPR 367.40 for selling, while the Omani Riyal is priced at NPR 358.16 for buying and NPR 359.71 for selling.
Lastly, the exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees is set at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision as needed. The rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
