Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official exchange rates for foreign currencies today. According to the determined rates, the purchase rate for 1 US dollar is set at NPR 138.32, and the selling rate is NPR 138.92. For the Euro, the purchase rate is NPR 141.90, and the selling rate is NPR 142.52. The UK Pound Sterling is priced at a purchase rate of NPR 168.56 and a selling rate of NPR 169.29, while the Swiss Franc’s purchase rate is NPR 150.98 and the selling rate is NPR 151.63.
The Australian Dollar has a purchase rate of NPR 85.53 and a selling rate of NPR 85.90, while the Canadian Dollar is set at a purchase rate of NPR 96.19 and a selling rate of NPR 96.61. The Singapore Dollar is priced at NPR 100.02 for purchase and NPR 101.45 for selling.
For other currencies, the exchange rates are as follows: 10 Japanese Yen is being purchased at NPR 8.76 and sold at NPR 8.80, while 1 Chinese Yuan is set at a purchase rate of NPR 18.87 and a selling rate of NPR 18.95. The Saudi Riyal is valued at NPR 36.85 for purchase and NPR 37.01 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal is priced at NPR 37.96 for purchase and NPR 38.12 for selling.
Other currencies include the Thai Baht, with a purchase rate of NPR 3.98 and a selling rate of NPR 3.99; the UAE Dirham, with a purchase rate of NPR 37.66 and a selling rate of NPR 37.82; the Malaysian Ringgit, with a purchase rate of NPR 30.70 and a selling rate of NPR 30.84; the South Korean Won, with a purchase rate of NPR 9.47 and a selling rate of NPR 9.51; the Swedish Krona, with a purchase rate of NPR 12.33 and a selling rate of NPR 12.39; and the Danish Krone, with a purchase rate of NPR 19.02 and a selling rate of NPR 19.10.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the exchange rates for other currencies: the Hong Kong Dollar is priced at NPR 17.77 for purchase and NPR 17.84 for selling, the Kuwaiti Dinar is set at NPR 448.04 for purchase and NPR 449.98 for selling, the Bahraini Dinar is set at NPR 366.91 for purchase and NPR 368.50 for selling, and the Omani Rial is priced at NPR 359.29 for purchase and NPR 360.85 for selling. The Indian Rupee exchange rate is set at NPR 160 for purchase and NPR 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to change at any time as needed. Commercial banks may offer different exchange rates, which will be updated on the central bank’s website.
