Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today, showing a slight decline in the value of the US dollar and the Euro compared to Thursday. Meanwhile, currencies such as the Saudi Arabian Riyal, Qatari Riyal, Malaysian Ringgit, UAE Dirham, Hong Kong Dollar, Kuwaiti Dinar, and Bahraini Dinar saw minor fluctuations.
The buying rate for the US dollar is set at NPR 134.05, and the selling rate at NPR 134.65. On Thursday, the buying and selling rates for the dollar were NPR 134.07 and NPR 134.67, respectively. Similarly, the buying rate for the Euro has been set at NPR 147.72, and the selling rate at NPR 148.38, down from Thursday’s rates of NPR 148.18 and NPR 148.84.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for the British Pound Sterling today is NPR 174.93, and the selling rate is NPR 175.71, down from Thursday’s rates of NPR 175.52 and NPR 176.30.
For the Swiss Franc, the buying rate is NPR 156.96, and the selling rate is NPR 157.66. The Australian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 89.57 and a selling rate of NPR 89.97. Meanwhile, the Canadian dollar is priced at NPR 98.74 for buying and NPR 99.18 for selling, while the Singapore dollar stands at NPR 102.70 for buying and NPR 103.16 for selling.
The Japanese Yen (for 10 units) has a buying rate of NPR 9.41 and a selling rate of NPR 9.45, while the Chinese Yuan is priced at NPR 18.82 for buying and NPR 18.91 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 35.72 and a selling rate of NPR 35.88, and the Qatari Riyal is at NPR 36.77 for buying and NPR 36.93 for selling.
Other currencies like the Thai Baht are set at NPR 3.97 for buying and NPR 3.99 for selling. The UAE Dirham is at NPR 36.50 for buying and NPR 36.66 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 30.93 and a selling rate of NPR 31.07, while 100 units of the South Korean Won are priced at NPR 9.99 for buying and NPR 10.03 for selling. The Swedish Krona is set at NPR 12.93 for buying and NPR 12.99 for selling, and the Danish Krone at NPR 19.80 for buying and NPR 19.88 for selling.
The Hong Kong Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 17.18, and the selling rate is NPR 17.26. The Kuwaiti Dinar is priced at NPR 438.95 for buying and NPR 440.91 for selling, while the Bahraini Dinar is set at NPR 355.66 for buying and NPR 357.25 for selling.
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision as needed. Commercial banks may offer different rates, and the latest exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
