Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the official exchange rates for foreign currencies applicable for Monday.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is fixed at NPR 134.88, while the selling rate stands at NPR 135.48. Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is NPR 142.66, with a selling rate of NPR 143.29. The UK Pound Sterling is valued at NPR 171.82 for buying and NPR 172.58 for selling. Likewise, the Swiss Franc is priced at NPR 153.11 for buying and NPR 153.79 for selling.
For the Australian Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 87.83, and the selling rate is NPR 88.22. The Canadian Dollar is set at NPR 96.33 for buying and NPR 96.75 for selling. Meanwhile, one Singapore Dollar can be bought at NPR 100.72 and sold at NPR 101.16.
The Japanese Yen is valued at NPR 9.01 for buying and NPR 9.05 for selling per 10 units. The Chinese Yuan is priced at NPR 18.62 for buying and NPR 18.71 for selling. Among Gulf currencies, the Saudi Arabian Riyal is set at NPR 35.90 for buying and NPR 36.06 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal stands at NPR 36.98 for buying and NPR 37.15 for selling.
The Thai Baht’s exchange rates are NPR 3.93 for buying and NPR 3.95 for selling. The UAE Dirham is priced at NPR 36.72 for buying and NPR 36.89 for selling, and the Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 30.34 for buying and NPR 30.48 for selling.
Other currencies, such as the South Korean Won, are set at NPR 9.66 for buying and NPR 9.71 for selling per 100 units. The Swedish Krona is valued at NPR 12.37 for buying and NPR 12.42 for selling, while the Danish Krona stands at NPR 19.13 for buying and NPR 19.21 for selling.
In addition, the Hong Kong Dollar is priced at NPR 17.33 for buying and NPR 17.41 for selling. High-value currencies like the Kuwaiti Dinar are set at NPR 439.39 for buying and NPR 441.35 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar stands at NPR 357.75 for buying and NPR 359.34 for selling, while the Omani Riyal is valued at NPR 350.35 for buying and NPR 351.91 for selling.
Finally, the Indian Rupee is priced at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling per 100 units.
NRB has stated that these rates are subject to revision as needed. Commercial banks may have slightly different exchange rates, and the most updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
