Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for Sunday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is fixed at NPR 133.63, while the selling rate is NPR 134.23. Similarly, the buying rate for 1 Euro is NPR 149.14, and the selling rate is NPR 149.81. The buying rate for 1 UK Pound Sterling is NPR 178.94, with a selling rate of NPR 179.74, and for 1 Swiss Franc, the buying rate is NPR 158.28, and the selling rate is NPR 158.99.
For other currencies, the rates are as follows: 1 Australian dollar is set at a buying rate of NPR 92.05 and a selling rate of NPR 92.46, while 1 Canadian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 99.16 and a selling rate of NPR 99.60. The Singapore dollar is fixed at NPR 104.22 for buying and NPR 104.69 for selling.
For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.33 and the selling rate is NPR 9.37, while 1 Chinese Yuan is set at NPR 19.06 for buying and NPR 19.15 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 35.62 and a selling rate of NPR 35.78, and the Qatari Riyal is fixed at NPR 36.66 for buying and NPR 36.83 for selling.
The central bank has also announced that 1 Thai Baht is set at a buying rate of NPR 4.13 and a selling rate of NPR 4.15, while 1 UAE Dirham has a buying rate of NPR 36.38 and a selling rate of NPR 36.55. The Malaysian Ringgit is fixed at NPR 32.40 for buying and NPR 32.54 for selling, and 100 South Korean Won is set at NPR 10.18 for buying and NPR 10.22 for selling. The Swedish Krona has a buying rate of NPR 13.22 and a selling rate of NPR 13.28, while the Danish Krona is set at NPR 20.00 for buying and NPR 20.09 for selling.
Additionally, the Hong Kong Dollar is set at a buying rate of NPR 17.19 and a selling rate of NPR 17.27, while the Kuwaiti Dinar is set at NPR 438.02 for buying and NPR 439.98 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 354.48 and a selling rate of NPR 356.07. Finally, the exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees is set at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
The central bank has noted that these rates are subject to change as needed, and commercial banks may set different exchange rates. The updated rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
