Nepal Rastra Bank Announces Foreign Exchange Rates for Today

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for 1 US dollar has been set at NPR 133.41, while the selling rate stands at NPR 134.01.

For the European euro, the buying rate is NPR 148.87, and the selling rate is NPR 149.54. The British pound sterling’s buying rate is NPR 177.32, while the selling rate is NPR 178.12. Similarly, the Swiss franc is being bought at NPR 157.02, and sold at NPR 157.72.

The buying and selling rates for 1 Australian dollar are NPR 90.78 and NPR 91.19, respectively. The Canadian dollar’s buying rate is NPR 98.29, and its selling rate is NPR 98.73. The Singapore dollar is being bought at NPR 103.21, and sold at NPR 103.67.

For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.24, and the selling rate is NPR 9.28. The Chinese yuan is being traded at NPR 18.91 for buying and NPR 18.99 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal’s buying rate is NPR 35.55, and the selling rate is NPR 35.71. Similarly, the Qatari riyal is being bought at NPR 36.59, and sold at NPR 36.49.

The exchange rate for 1 Thai baht is set at NPR 4.04 for buying and NPR 4.06 for selling. The UAE dirham’s buying rate is NPR 36.32, while the selling rate is NPR 36.49. The Malaysian ringgit is being bought at NPR 31.73, and sold at NPR 31.87. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is NPR 9.98, and the selling rate is NPR 10.03. The Swedish krona’s buying rate is NPR 13.07, and its selling rate is NPR 13.13, while the Danish krone is being bought at NPR 19.96, and sold at NPR 20.05.

Additionally, the Hong Kong dollar is being bought at NPR 17.12, and sold at NPR 17.20. The Kuwaiti dinar’s buying rate is NPR 437.20, and the selling rate is NPR 439.17. The Bahraini dinar is being bought at NPR 354.01, and sold at NPR 355.61. Meanwhile, for 100 Indian rupees, the buying rate is NPR 160.00, and the selling rate is NPR 160.15.

NRB has stated that the exchange rates are subject to change at any time based on necessity. It also noted that the rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the updated rates can be accessed on the central bank’s official website.
