Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign exchange rates for today, indicating stability in the value of the US dollar.
According to the set rates, the buying price of one US dollar is NPR 138.28, and the selling price is NPR 138.88. The value of the Singapore dollar, Chinese yuan, and Thai baht has increased, while the Euro, UK pound sterling, Swiss franc, Japanese yen, Danish kroner, and Kuwaiti dinar have seen a decline.
For the Euro, the buying price is NPR 142.03, and the selling price is NPR 142.65. The UK pound sterling is valued at a buying rate of NPR 168.25 and a selling rate of NPR 168.98. The Swiss franc’s rates are set at NPR 151.13 for buying and NPR 151.79 for selling.
Other notable currencies include the Australian dollar at NPR 85.63 (buying) and NPR 86.00 (selling), Canadian dollar at NPR 95.49 (buying) and NPR 95.91 (selling), and Singapore dollar at NPR 101.96 (buying) and NPR 102.40 (selling).
The Japanese yen is valued at NPR 8.85 (buying) and NPR 8.89 (selling) per 10 units, while the Chinese yuan stands at NPR 18.88 (buying) and NPR 18.96 (selling). Similarly, the Thai baht is priced at NPR 4.03 (buying) and NPR 4.05 (selling).
Additionally, the Indian rupee is valued at NPR 160.00 (buying) and NPR 160.15 (selling) for 100 units. Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti dinar’s buying price is NPR 447.97, and the selling price is NPR 449.92, making it one of the highest-valued currencies in the exchange rate list.
NRB has stated that the rates are subject to revisions as needed and that exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary. Updated rates are available on the NRB website.
