Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the foreign exchange rates for today. Compared to Tuesday, there has been a slight decrease in the value of the UAE Dirham and Malaysian Ringgit.
As of today, the buying rate for one UAE Dirham stands at NPR 36.37, with a selling rate of NPR 36.53. This is a minor increase from the previous day’s rates of NPR 36.32 for buying and NPR 36.48 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit saw a change, with today’s buying rate set at NPR 32.16 and the selling rate at NPR 32.30, compared to the previous day’s rates of NPR 31.32 for buying and NPR 31.88 for selling.
For the US Dollar, NRB has set the buying rate at NPR 133.58 and the selling rate at NPR 134.18. The exchange rate for the Euro is set at NPR 148.61 for buying and NPR 149.28 for selling. Similarly, the British Pound Sterling is set at NPR 178.52 for buying and NPR 179.32 for selling, while the Swiss Franc stands at NPR 157.49 for buying and NPR 158.19 for selling.
In addition, the Australian Dollar is valued at NPR 91.44 for buying and NPR 91.85 for selling, the Canadian Dollar at NPR 98.88 for buying and NPR 99.32 for selling, and the Singapore Dollar at NPR 103.66 for buying and NPR 104.12 for selling.
For the Japanese Yen, 10 units are valued at NPR 9.28 for buying and NPR 9.32 for selling, while the Chinese Yuan is set at NPR 18.99 for buying and NPR 19.08 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is valued at NPR 35.61 for buying and NPR 35.77 for selling, and the Qatari Riyal at NPR 36.65 for buying and NPR 36.81 for selling.
NRB has also set the rates for other currencies, including the Thai Baht at NPR 4.07 for buying and NPR 4.09 for selling, the South Korean Won at NPR 10.00 for buying and NPR 10.05 for selling (per 100 units), the Swedish Krona at NPR 13.16 for buying and NPR 13.22 for selling, and the Danish Krone at NPR 19.93 for buying and NPR 20.02 for selling.
The Hong Kong Dollar is valued at NPR 17.16 for buying and NPR 17.23 for selling, the Kuwaiti Dinar at NPR 437.67 for buying and NPR 439.63 for selling, and the Bahraini Dinar at NPR 354.39 for buying and NPR 355.99 for selling. Additionally, the Indian Rupee is set at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling per 100 units.
NRB has noted that these rates are subject to change at any time if necessary. It is also highlighted that the rates set by commercial banks may differ and that updated exchange rates can be found on the NRB website.
